One thing about living in the burbs compared to living in the middle of nowhere is that there is not an edge. The edge was the overgrown area around the perimeter of the North Carolinian acreage. It is the place for what you don’t want in the noticed part of your property. It is the land of leaves, big sticks, and dog shit.

Now I have biodegradable leaf bags to put to the curb. Happy Brush Week!—curbside pickup starts on Monday. Is well-wrapping dog shit for the trash EPA sanctioned?
